Hermann Kaufmann – Contemporary modern architecture in wood. Click on “projekte”, then choose one of the categories in the list displayed at the top of the window. Schwarzach (G)

Italy:

Renzo Piano Building Workshop – Created some quite interesting structures and structural components in wood. (E)

Switzerland:

Peter Zumthor – Zumthor has done some of the most widely acclaimed work in contemporary wooden architecture in Switzerland. Theoretically, there is a site www.zumthor.ch but it does not seem to work. (I)

UK:

Foster&Partners – So far there’s only one wooden structure in their portfolio. (E)
Waugh Thistleton – Builders of the (currently) tallest wooden building: 9 stories. (E)
