Photos – Québec (1999)

02_statue.jpg

These are pictures from one of our many trips to Québec – mostly from Québec City and Montréal. If you want to learn more about Québec, check out my Québec Links page.

I always enjoy visiting Quebec City. It is a small city and beautiful even during the (quite harsh) winter months. If you visit during winter, plan on a short trip outside of the city to the Ice Hotel. It is a magical place and one of the few places where you get your drink served “in the rocks”. Also, try to catch the Winter Carnival.

Nice pictures ! But your photo identified as "Quebec City Hall" is'nt the city hall but the "Price Building"…very near of the City Hall (on the other side of Sainte-Anne street)… Built in 1930-1931 amid controversy for Price Brothers ltd., it is the tallest building in the Old Quebec historical district, and one of the oldest skyscrapers in Canada.

    I'm a citizen of Quebec city…
