Photos – Ice

I wanted to take advantage of subzero temperatures and was interested in what aesthetic I could discover in frozen water. So out came a few 5 gallon buckets and some colored paint. The next day, I had what I was looking for.

As it turns out, creating ice with colored water yields amazing results. From frozen bubbles to frosted haze and air pockets all shapes appeared.
