• baumschlager & eberle - An office that does excellent work with all materials, including some very innovative timber projects. Lochau/Vaduz/Wien (G,E)
• Hermann Kaufmann - Contemporary modern architecture in wood. Click on "projekte", then choose one of the categories in the list displayed at the top of the window. Schwarzach (G)

Italy:

• Renzo Piano Building Workshop - Created some quite interesting structures and structural components in wood. (E)

Switzerland:

• Peter Zumthor - Zumthor has done some of the most widely acclaimed work in contemporary wooden architecture in Switzerland. Theoretically, there is a site www.zumthor.ch but it does not seem to work. (I)

UK:

• Foster&Partners - So far there's only one wooden structure in their portfolio. (E)
